  • Fund focus and objective  
The investment objective of the underlying fund is to target capital growth by outperforming the MSCI World Index (in US Dollars) and MSCI All Countries World Index (in US Dollars) over the long term. In order to meet its investment objective, the underlying fund will invest a minimum of 90% of its assets directly in global equity securities and global equity linked securities (including other securities with equity characteristics or conferring the right to acquire equity securities, such as common stock, preferred stock, preference shares or depositary receipts, including American Depositary Receipts (“ADRs”), European Depositary Receipts (“EDR's) and Global Depositary Receipts (“GDRs”) which are listed on Recognised Exchanges.
The underlying fund will invest in multinational companies with total market values of more than US$5 billion. The underlying fund may also invest in companies from emerging market countries but such investments will not exceed 20% of the underlying fund's Net Asset Value. Up to 10% of the assets of the underlying fund may be invested in money market instruments such as treasury bills and municipal bonds, and commercial paper. The underlying fund uses the MSCI World Index (in US Dollars) and the MSCI ACWI Index (in US Dollars) for performance comparison.
